Jon was replacing a radiator, fixing a small leak and servicing our boiler and then serviced my mums boiler immediately afterwards. He provided an excellent and efficient service. He was clean and tidy, not leaving any mess behind. He is very knowledgeable and is happy to share his expertise and would be happy to recommend him if you are looking for a plumber/ heating engineer.
Yorkshire Heating and Renewables have been looking after the heating and plumbing for our house, self catering business and a couple of Church buildings I am responsible for, for several years now, and I am delighted with their work and the excellent service they supply.
Jon's team has recently completed my main bathroom, ensuite and downstairs WC to a high standard. We are absolutely over the moon with them and the work and professionalism of the lovely team of lads. It really matters to them that their customers are 100% happy with the work. They really went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Will definitely use again and recommend. So much so that my daughter is having work done by them next week. I even left them with a key as they are 100% trustworthy. Thanks again Jon and team.

Is underfloor heating suitable for my home?
Underfloor heating can be installed in most property types, including new builds, extensions and renovations. We assess your property layout, insulation and floor construction to confirm suitability before installation.
Can underfloor heating be installed in existing homes?
Yes. Underfloor heating can be retrofitted into existing properties, depending on floor build up and access. We will advise on the most suitable system for your home.
Is underfloor heating expensive to run
Underfloor heating is designed to operate at lower temperatures than traditional radiators, making it an efficient heating option when installed correctly and paired with modern controls.
What flooring works with underfloor heating?
Underfloor heating works well with many floor finishes, including tiles, stone, engineered wood and some vinyls. We will advise on the best flooring options to maximise heat transfer.
How long does underfloor heating installation take?
Installation times vary depending on the size of the project and whether it is a new build or retrofit. We will always provide clear timescales before work begins.
Will underfloor heating replace radiators completely?
In many cases, underfloor heating can fully replace radiators. In some properties, a hybrid system may be recommended depending on room usage and heat demand.
Is underfloor heating easy to control?
Yes. Modern underfloor heating systems use programmable thermostats and zoning controls, allowing you to manage temperatures room by room.
How will I know when my engineers are arriving?
We’ll send you a reminder text in the morning. Then, you’ll be able to track the location of your engineers, so you’re never left wondering when (or whether!) someone will arrive.
Do you also install heat pumps?
Underfloor heating works beautifully with air source heat pumps to provide a double whammy for energy savings. So, yes, we also install heat pumps.
Are you accredited and insured?
Yes, we are fully insured. We are on the Gas Safe register and OFTEC register, and we’re accredited in Unvented Hot Water, Water Regulations, Low Temperature Heating Design and Safe Electrical Isolation.
