Jon Howden is a first class tradesman. He first did some work on our house extension. He fitted new a new boiler, under floor heating and new radiators. He’s also fitted two new bathrooms All his work had been to the highest of standards and I highly recommend him. He is reliable and his costs are very reasonable.
It's my second dealings with Jon's company with regards to boiler and heating issues. His knowledge and expertise was great and informative...thanks Yorkshire Heating
Great Boiler Service, Jon at Yorkshire Heating and Renewables Ltd, fitted my new boiler in 2023 and serviced it annually! since, First Class, I highly recommend.
Top notch service. I seriously can not fault them: price, communication, efficiency, in every aspect very good. Have no hesitation to part with your money for whatever it is you need doing. You won't be disappointed.

Is my property suitable for an air source heat pump?
Most properties can be suitable for an air source heat pump, but factors such as insulation, available outdoor space and existing heating systems need to be considered. We assess each home individually before making a recommendation.
Do air source heat pumps work with radiators?
Yes, air source heat pumps can work with radiators. In some cases, radiator upgrades may be recommended to ensure the system operates efficiently at lower temperatures.
How much electricity does an air source heat pump use?
Running costs depend on factors such as property size, insulation levels and how the system is used. When designed correctly, air source heat pumps are an efficient alternative to traditional heating systems.
Will an air source heat pump replace my boiler completely?
In most cases, an air source heat pump replaces the boiler entirely. Hybrid systems can also be considered where appropriate, depending on the property and heating requirements.
Is planning permission required for an air source heat pump?
Air source heat pumps are often permitted developments, but this can depend on the property type and location. We will advise you if any permissions are required.
Can I install an air source heat pump in an older home?
Yes. Air source heat pumps can be installed in older properties, provided the home is properly assessed. Improvements to insulation or heating distribution may be advised to maximise performance.
Do you offer heat pump grants?
We don’t offer heat pump grants, but we work with some great companies who do. We can connect you with a company that will professionally design the heat pump for us to install.
Is payment up front?
Once you have your fixed quote, you can pay 50% of the sum, and then we’ll begin work. When all the work is done, the remainder is paid.
What happens after the heat pump is installed?
We’re committed to leaving your home in great condition so you can enjoy your new heat pump. We wear boot covers and bring cleaning equipment and dust sheets, and we clean up carefully before we go.
Are there any warranties?
We’re fully insured, and we offer a 12-month warranty on workmanship and up to 12 years’ manufacturer warranty.
What if I need help after you leave?
If you experience any problems with your new air source heat pump, we’ll come back and ensure everything’s right.
